“We’re looking for an DM content writer to join our team and help us write compelling, keyword-rich content that ranks high on search engines. In this role, you will be responsible for writing, editing, and optimizing website content, blog posts, articles, and other digital marketing collateral. You will also be responsible for conducting keyword research and competitor analysis to inform your writing.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Write SEO-friendly content that engages the reader and ranks well in search engines
• Understand and utilize keyword research to produce content that is both informative and optimized for organic traffic
• Stay up-to-date on trends in the SEO industry and adapt content strategy accordingly
• Work with the marketing team to develop an overall content strategy that aligns with business goals
• Write compelling copy for website pages, blog posts, email campaigns, social media posts, and other digital marketing collateral
• Edit and proofread content for grammar, style, and accuracy
• Conduct research on assigned topics to ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date
• Adhere to company style guide and tone of voice
• Optimize existing content to improve organic traffic and search ranking
• Monitor web analytics to track progress and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with other members of the marketing team to brainstorm new ideas and strategies
• Assist with other tasks as needed, such as creating reports, conducting competitor analysis, and managing projects
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, or related field
• 3+ years professional writing experience, with a strong portfolio of work
• Exceptional research and writing skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines
• Excellent organizational skill and multitasking ability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Working knowledge of SEO best practices
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
• Experience with content management systems, WordPress, etc.
• Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides
• Experience working with Google Analytics
• A keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design
• Social media or content marketing experience”
